Experiment 001: Ink brings together some of the UK's sharpest tattoo artists alongside live painting, live magic, a tattoo awards ceremony, and a full trading-card and Eat Street presence, built to be explored, not sat in a hall for.
CoCreate Tattoo is a private, appointment-only studio founded on the belief that tattooing should be a collaborative and considered process — not a transaction. That same ethos shapes every artist selection at Experiment 001.
Experiment 001: Ink is backed and organised by Lab Con — a separate business partnering with The Lab Studios to bring this experience to the floor.

At 18:00 the needles stop and the judging starts. Categories span every major style — voted by a panel of working artists, not the public.
Walk-in tattoos only — work must be completed on the day to be entered.
Ticket pricing is set per event — future experiments will have their own pricing.
A purpose-built event venue on the outskirts of Chelmsford — 20 minutes from the city centre, with ample parking and direct rail access from London Liverpool Street.
